Gastronomy Journey|Day 2
This journey in pursuit of the world’s most compelling flavors continues.
The goal: dishes that capture the spirit of “now” in Paris, Barcelona, and Taipei—each a city rich with gastronomic identity and unique culinary memory.
Day 1 is here.
Day two begins still in the sky.
On our Sanrio-themed EVA AIR flight, we dozed off somewhere above Asia—and awoke on the verge of Paris.
The first in-flight meal: stir-fried pork with shacha sauce and white rice.
Far from mild, it was boldly flavorful—one of those meals where each bite demands another spoonful of rice.
verything, down to the paper cups and trays, was decked out in Sanrio characters, adding a sense of playful charm that made even breakfast feel special.
Savoury Porridge with Fish and Egg—a warm blend of flaky white fish, scrambled egg, and tender vegetables, soothing and easy on the stomach after a long-haul red-eye.
Served alongside fruit, steamed vegetables, and bread, it was light yet complete—ideal for the final stretch before arrival.
With sleepiness mingling with excitement, the real adventure was about to begin.
Arrival in Paris: Charles de Gaulle Airport
After clearing immigration and picking up our luggage, we exchanged currency at the airport and headed for the taxi stand.
Through the glass, the cityscape of Paris shimmered in the morning light, and anticipation stirred.
We hopped into a fixed-fare taxi, where our gentle, soft-spoken driver—a fellow Asian traveler—made sure we were comfortable, adjusting the air conditioning and letting us know when traffic might delay us by “just ten more minutes.”
Soon, the Stade de France came into view—a thrilling moment for any football fan.
Street art splashed across the highway walls added a dash of Parisian urban flavor. Even these fleeting roadside scenes felt deeply immersive.
As we entered the city, a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower peeked above the rooftops, prompting an audible gasp.
Then came the Arc de Triomphe, slowly emerging from behind traffic, stately and magnificent.
Even the drive from the airport was soaked in the spirit of Paris.
Check-in at Le Méridien Etoile
Our hotel for the night: Le Méridien Etoile, just a short distance from the Arc de Triomphe.
Its sleek, modern exterior and elegant gold-accented lobby made a perfect first impression—suitable for both business and leisure stays.
After a smooth check-in, we took a short break in the lounge. The crisp morning air called for a refreshing iced Americano, which came in a beautiful glass—just what we needed to reset after the long journey.
With our bags finally set down, it felt like the Paris chapter had officially begun.

Lunch at SEPTIME: World-Class Simplicity
Not long after settling in, we headed out for lunch at the highly acclaimed SEPTIME, ranked #11 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024.
Nestled on Rue de Charonne in the 11th arrondissement, this modern bistro with a deep navy façade is a name any Parisian food lover knows by heart.
We arrived via Uber, admiring the cityscape along the way.
Just seeing SEPTIME’s stylish exterior made our hearts flutter with anticipation.
What awaited inside? We were about to find out.
▶︎ More on SEPTIME
After a sublime lunch, our senses and spirits were fully awakened.
The dishes were minimalist in presentation but rich in intention—an elegant and striking start to our culinary journey in Paris.
Next, we took the metro from Ledru-Rollin Station on Line 8.
Surrounded by art deco white tiles and deep green trains, the underground buzzed with locals and tourists alike—a perfect glimpse into everyday Paris.
When we surfaced at Opéra Station, the grandeur of the Parisian architecture nearly took our breath away.
Across the intersection stood a row of classic buildings, cobblestone streets unfolding beneath them, and people waiting at the crosswalk—
a scene so picturesque, it felt as if we’d stepped into a film.
Strolling Through Place Vendôme
From Opéra, we strolled to the iconic Place Vendôme, a symbol of Parisian elegance.
At its center stood the towering Vendôme Column, built to commemorate Napoleon’s triumph. Up close, its scale was nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Surrounding the square were timeless maisons like BOUCHERON, Louis Vuitton, and Chaumet, each window glittering with exquisite jewelry.
At Chaumet, steeped in the love story of Napoleon and Empress Joséphine, we felt an even deeper connection—especially knowing we had chosen our own wedding rings from its Tokyo boutique.
Standing at the brand’s birthplace, with the column in the background, we took a photo hand-in-hand—a symbol of memory, commitment, and timeless design.
With its classical façade and elegant white awning, standing in front of the Vendôme flagship store, we could truly feel the brand’s deep-rooted aesthetic and pride.
It wasn’t just about making a purchase—it was about the reason we chose this brand, and the memory of standing in this very place.
That connection made the ring all the more meaningful.
And in that moment, the city of Paris became something even more special for the two of us.
Place Vendôme isn’t just a sightseeing spot.
It’s a place for life’s milestones—a setting where memory, meaning, and elegance converge.
Strolling leisurely from Place Vendôme toward our next destination—the Louvre Museum—we happened to glance up at a wall and noticed something oddly familiar: a mosaic featuring a blue character with a British twist in pixel art form.
Of course—it was a piece by the graphic street artist Invader.
Based in Paris, Invader is known for secretly placing his signature mosaic artworks across cities around the world, and Paris is home to many of them.
What makes it even more fun is that it’s not just about spotting the art—you can actually collect it using a dedicated app called FlashInvaders.
Point your phone at the piece you’ve found, and just like catching a Pokémon, it logs the location and adds it to your digital gallery. The whole city becomes an interactive, open-air museum.
In a city lined with historic architecture, the way this kind of contemporary art blends so naturally into the landscape is part of Paris’s unique charm.
Before even reaching the Louvre, we had already experienced an unexpected but delightful encounter with a museum of the streets.
First Visit to the Louvre Museum
After a short walk through the streets of Paris from Place Vendôme, we arrived at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, just outside the Louvre.
Commissioned by Napoleon, this grand arch stands proudly amid the majestic Louvre buildings—possessing a beauty and presence all its own.
This was also the meeting point for the guided tour we had pre-booked through GetYourGuide.
We met up with the on-site staff and received our tour headset device, known as VOX.
This handy device allows you to hear the guide’s voice clearly through an earpiece, even amid the crowd and ambient noise.
Thanks to VOX, we could enjoy the explanations comfortably and without missing a word—even inside the busy museum.
And now, we step inside the Louvre—
a vast sanctuary where treasures from across the globe, spanning from antiquity to the modern era, await discovery.
Passing beneath the glass pyramid and through security, we descended into the Louvre’s expansive underground entrance—an airy, open atrium filled with light.
At its center stood the iconic Inverted Pyramid (La Pyramide Inversée).
Natural light streamed gently down its glass surface, spilling softly onto the floor below.
Despite the bustle around it, the space felt almost sacred—a quiet calm in contrast to the crowd.
As we moved forward in line, I glanced upward—through the geometric glass roof, the historic façade of the Louvre peeked through.
It was a surreal moment where past and present seemed to meet, suspended in perfect balance.
Inside, the Louvre was even more vast than expected—divided into multiple wings and levels.
Having a guided tour made the experience both efficient and reassuring, especially for a first-time visit.
Following our guide’s lead and listening through the VOX receiver, we began our walk along the museum’s most iconic exhibition route.
Another perk: large bags could be stored in lockers, allowing us to explore freely and comfortably.
And so, we stepped into the heart of the museum—where masterpieces from every corner of the world awaited us.
After clearing security at the entrance, we finally entered the heart of the Louvre.
Our first stop: the Ancient Egypt wing.
One of the most striking highlights was the Great Sphinx of Tanis, one of the Louvre’s most iconic pieces.
Majestic and enigmatic, it sat in silence, its gaze steady and commanding.
The sheer presence of the sculpture made us pause instinctively—drawn in by its timeless dignity.
Next, we moved into the gallery of Ancient Greek and Roman sculpture.
In one section, rows of imperial busts stood in quiet formation.
Each face, each hairstyle, each type of stone revealed subtle clues about the era it came from—
offering glimpses into the aesthetics, politics, and ideals of long-past civilizations.
Then came one of the day’s highlights: our encounter with the Venus de Milo.
Her gracefully flowing curves and famously missing arms seemed to stir the imagination even more—
as if the absence itself invited us to project our own visions of beauty and perfection.
She stood there, timeless and serene, embodying an ideal of femininity that transcends centuries.
As we wandered through the sculpture galleries, we encountered statues of Athena, Aphrodite, and other figures from Greek mythology.
Each pose, each piece of ornamentation offered a glimpse into the mythological worlds they came from—so full of life, it was hard to believe they were carved from stone.
Even with the crowd around us, each statue seemed to quietly invite close, personal reflection.
This was a space where masterpieces from centuries past still whispered to the imagination, gently stirring something within every viewer who paused to look.
One of the Louvre’s most breathtaking features isn’t just the art—it’s the architecture itself.
In particular, the rooms adorned with ornate ceiling frescoes were nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Oval frames trimmed in gold held mythological scenes, where figures floated through the sky, their expressive gestures and dynamic poses unfolding epic stories overhead.
In a neighboring hall, a scene from what appeared to be Greek mythology spanned the ceiling, with gilded details and plasterwork that made the space feel more like a royal palace than a museum.
At one point, we instinctively paused, looked up, and for a moment—completely lost track of time.
Leaving the sculpture galleries behind, we finally entered the painting wing—
a space where color, light, and centuries of artistic expression unfolded in every direction.
Our guide for the day was a young law student—a sharp, charismatic guy with both intelligence and a great sense of humor.
He brought a fresh and unexpected perspective to the art, weaving in insights from his legal studies that made each piece feel newly relevant.
His commentary was engaging and thought-provoking, and we found ourselves drawn in effortlessly.
The Louvre’s painting galleries were absolutely breathtaking—vast in scale and dense with masterpieces.
As we walked beneath soaring ceilings, it felt as though we were drifting deeper into layers of time and emotion.
Each corridor led us further into history.
Our first pause was at Leonardo da Vinci’s Virgin of the Rocks.
Its serene, dreamlike composition and the subtle expressions and gestures of its figures drew us in.
With our guide’s thoughtful explanation layered over it, the painting spoke even more clearly.
Leonardo’s signature sfumato technique gave the work an ethereal atmosphere—quietly beautiful, yet charged with mystery and intellectual tension.
Even the ceilings and frames around us felt like artworks in their own right.
The architecture itself became part of the museum’s visual story—an immersive world where every inch was art.
Listening to our guide reflect not only on art history but also on law, politics, and philosophy, the experience felt like more than just a tour—it was an education.
Through his lens, we began to understand the forces behind the canvas: belief systems, power structures, and the currents of each era.
Our gaze shifted from passive observation to active understanding.
As we continued through the vast galleries, we came upon “The Wedding at Cana” by Veronese—a monumental painting positioned directly across from the Mona Lisa.
Its sheer scale was overwhelming, but what truly captivated us was the energy within the scene:
a lively banquet so vividly rendered, you could almost hear the clinking of glasses and the murmur of conversation.
Veronese’s dynamic brushwork brought the celebration to life, drawing us into the joyous chaos of the moment.
And then—finally—we reached the Mona Lisa.
As expected, the crowd around her was dense, a sea of eager faces and raised phones.
Stretching up on tiptoes, we managed to catch a glimpse of that famous smile.
And even from a distance, she radiated an unmistakable presence—
an aura that reminded us why she continues to captivate the world.
Despite being surrounded by the bustle of the crowd, we couldn’t help but simply stand still—
quiet and awestruck in the presence of such an iconic work.
This area was filled with one masterpiece after another:
Leonardo’s Virgin of the Rocks, works by Raphael, and more.
As we wandered through the galleries, the thought kept returning:
“I can’t believe I’m really here.”
Each step felt like a moment suspended between art and reality.
With our viewing of the Mona Lisa complete, so too came the end of our guided tour.
A fitting finale to a journey through centuries of art, stories, and quiet wonder.
Before we knew it, nearly two hours had flown by.
Thanks to our guide, we were able to navigate the vast Louvre efficiently—never rushed, yet never wasting a moment.
Near the exit, we caught a glimpse of a restricted balcony, where a row of statues stood in stillness—
like silent guardians watching over the museum.
Even in our final steps, the Louvre’s quiet majesty lingered.
We had booked a guided tour through GetYourGuide, and the entire experience—from ticketing and meeting point to the clear audio via headset—was seamless.
For first-time visitors especially, it’s a fantastic way to go.
Our guide’s pace, sharp insights, and touches of humor turned a simple museum visit into something far more meaningful:
a journey through the stories behind the art.
As we gazed at the grand palace architecture through the glass pyramid,
a quiet thought settled in: “I’m truly glad we came.”
Our first time in Paris, our first time at the Louvre—
an unforgettable moment, filled with wonder and deep satisfaction.
Picking Up a Bouquet from a Beautifully Curated Flower Shop
After leaving the Louvre and with some time to spare before dinner, we searched for a nearby flower shop—
on the lookout for a bouquet we’d need for the following day.
It was the perfect excuse to stroll through the neighborhood and enjoy a bit more of the Parisian streetscape.
We arrived at a charming local flower shop, brimming with that unmistakable Parisian flair.
Out front, eye-catching arrangements of lush ranunculus, antique-toned roses, and artfully composed bouquets were lined up in perfect harmony—each one like a miniature work of art.
Every corner of the shop was a visual delight—so beautifully arranged, it felt like stepping into a living still life.
The color pairings and choice of blooms were effortlessly elegant, the very definition of French style.
It was the kind of space you could easily lose track of time in.
As evening fell, the warm glow of the lights made the flowers stand out even more—
catching the eyes of passersby and stopping them in their tracks.
We found the perfect bouquet for our special plans the next day,
and this little detour turned out to be one of the most satisfying moments of the afternoon.
A Special Evening at the Long-Awaited Restaurant “KEI”
Still wrapped in the lingering impression of the Louvre and carrying the soft scent of our freshly picked bouquet,
we made our way to Restaurant KEI—the acclaimed three-Michelin-starred establishment led by Chef Kei Kobayashi,
who also served as the culinary advisor for the film “Le Grand Chef: Paris.”
Behind its understated façade lies a world apart, quietly tucked into the heart of Paris.
Even the metallic, modern entrance hinted at the refined experience that awaited us—
and with each step closer, a growing sense of anticipation began to stir.
Tucked into a quiet street, the restaurant occupied a corner of a beautifully understated building—its presence calm, poised, and unmistakably elegant.
Here, in this serene setting, was the beginning of what would become one of the true highlights of our journey: an unforgettable dinner experience.
▶For more details on Restaurant KEI, click here.
With the lingering afterglow of our unforgettable dinner at KEI, we rode back to the hotel by taxi.
The quiet Parisian night unfolded beyond the window—stone-paved streets glistening under soft lights, every frame a picture of elegance.
We had visited the places we’d long dreamed of, seen the sights we’d hoped for, and savored the flavors we’d been longing to taste.
Our first day in Paris was nothing short of perfect.
And somehow, it felt like tomorrow held even more beautiful encounters waiting to be discovered.
Gastronomy Journey|Day 3
Day 2 in Paris – Morning Bakery Run
Our second day in Paris began quietly. Jet lag had caught up with us during the previous night’s dinner, and by the end I was starting to nod off.
Today was the final day of our stay in Paris—and the main event of our journey: the wedding photo shoot.
Early in the morning, a makeup artist arrived at our hotel room to begin preparations for my wife. While she was getting ready, I stepped out into the still-sleepy streets of Paris in search of breakfast.
Just a short walk away was a local boulangerie. The display was full of freshly baked galettes, cheese-filled breads, and golden croissants rich with the aroma of butter—each one a flawless choice. Their visual beauty and the unmistakable Parisian charm that surrounded them instantly lifted my spirits.
Each pastry seemed to echo the excitement of our journey. Even this quiet, ordinary morning became a cherished memory, wrapped in the warmth of flaky dough and the magic of a city that turns the everyday into something unforgettable.
Wedding Photo Shoot on Our Last Day in Paris
With hair and makeup complete, it was time to begin.
In the quiet of the hotel room, a pure white wedding dress hung gracefully, softly illuminated by natural light—radiating a gentle presence of its own.
Once everything was ready, my wife slipped into the dress, and together with our photographer and crew, we stepped into the hallway.
A space we’d walked through casually just hours before now felt completely transformed—like a scene from a film.
Outside, the streets of Paris glistened from a light morning rain.
The wet cobblestones shimmered, reflecting the muted light and adding an almost cinematic touch to the moment.
Waiting for us was a sleek black Mercedes van. Carefully cradling the dress, we climbed inside and set off toward our shoot locations across the city.
It was the beginning of a truly special day—one filled with a quiet thrill, a hint of nerves, and a whole lot of joy.
A Moment of Blessing from the City of Paris
Our first stop after hopping into the Uber was none other than the iconic symbol of Paris: the Eiffel Tower.
Though the weather brought rain, it added an unexpected kind of beauty—
the damp cobblestones glistened, and the iron lattice of the tower shimmered softly,
all wrapped in a hushed, almost sacred atmosphere.
At this very spot—famously featured in the first episode of “Grand Maison Tokyo”—our photo shoot began.
Just as the camera started clicking, car horns rang out from the street.
At first, we were surprised—but then we saw people rolling down their windows, waving, and offering heartfelt congratulations.
Not just once, but again and again.
Even our Uber driver turned back with a smile and said, “Félicitations!”
These small, spontaneous gestures of kindness touched us deeply—
moments of unexpected warmth that made the city feel all the more special.
After that, we made our way to the Palais-Royal.
In the courtyard lined with stone columns and against the backdrop of its elegant arcades,
we posed—slightly shy, yet steady—gazing into the camera, letting the setting speak for us.
At a nearby café, we captured relaxed, candid moments in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
And at our final stop—the Arc de Triomphe—we were once again met with joyful cries of “Congratulations!” from strangers passing by.
People we’d never met shared in our happiness as if it were their own.
That spirit—so uniquely Parisian—wrapped our special day in even more meaning,
turning it into a memory we’ll hold close forever.
In the middle of our wedding shoot with the Arc de Triomphe as our backdrop, an unexpected mishap struck—
the sole of a shoe suddenly popped off, completely giving way.
Thankfully, it happened near the end of the shoot, so we were able to laugh it off and finish everything smoothly.
If anything, it added a little charm to the day—
a small, unforgettable moment that will always be part of the story.
Finishing the Shoot on the Champs-Élysées
Our wedding photo session wrapped up in the most Parisian way possible—
on the iconic Champs-Élysées, radiating that unmistakable charm.
Right at the end of the avenue, we stumbled upon a striking sight:
a Louis Vuitton hotel under construction, its entire facade hidden behind a massive, trunk-shaped barrier.
Even from afar, the visual impact was incredible.
What made it even more impressive was the detail—so meticulously crafted, it made us laugh and wonder,
“How long did it take to build something like this… just for a construction site?”
In Paris, even the streets double as art galleries.
That scale, that imagination—it could only happen here.
For our wedding photos in Paris, we used the services of LA-VIE FACTORY 📸
Our photographer was Saori (@s.a.o.r.i_photography), who lives in Paris.
From start to finish, the shoot had a relaxed and joyful vibe, making the entire experience truly enjoyable.
Her style—capturing both the local charm of the city and our natural expressions—left a lasting impression.
It was a beautiful moment we’ll remember for a lifetime.
Changing Hotels — Onward to Moxy
After the shoot, we returned to the hotel to change out of the wedding dress and check out.
We hopped into an Uber to head to our next stay—only to be greeted by a surprise twist.
As it turned out, a demonstration was underway near our destination, and the surrounding roads had been closed off.
Still, our driver, with admirable determination, said, “Let’s see how far we can go,”
even going so far as to move the barricade tape himself to push a little further.
We couldn’t help but laugh at his boldness.
In the end, he had to stop short and let us off early, so we rolled our suitcases the rest of the way on foot.
But even that—detours and all—felt like part of the charm.
In Paris, even the unexpected becomes part of the story.
Our next stay brought us to the Moxy Hotel, nestled within the heart of Paris.
Though compact, the room was cleverly designed—functional, stylish, and full of personality.
A perfect balance of comfort and modern flair, it made for an effortless and welcoming check-in experience.
When we mentioned at check-in that we were on our honeymoon, the manager at the front desk lit up and said, “Congratulations!”
To our surprise, he immediately brought out a bottle of champagne and offered us a celebratory toast right then and there.
We couldn’t help but smile—what a way to start a stay.
It was yet another heartwarming moment, a reminder of the quiet kindness and charm that Paris so often offers when you least expect it.
A Stroll to Place de la Concorde
After dropping off our luggage at the hotel, we headed out for a walk to Place de la Concorde.
The rain had just cleared, but the sky remained heavy with clouds—
casting a soft, muted light over the city that somehow made everything feel even more timeless.
At the center stood the obelisk—a striking monument with a golden tip, gifted from the Temple of Luxor in Egypt.
Just behind it, faintly visible through the misty air, was the elegant silhouette of the Eiffel Tower,
creating a layered view where ancient history and Parisian iconography quietly converged.
Surrounding the square were ornate fountains, classical sculptures, and elegantly crafted street lamps—
each one a visual treat that added to the grandeur of the space.
It was the kind of place where you could turn in any direction and find something beautiful to admire.
Stretching out before us was the Champs-Élysées, leading the eye straight toward the majestic Arc de Triomphe in the distance—
a truly breathtaking view.
Cars flowed steadily through the wide boulevard, and even waiting at the crosswalk became a moment worth capturing.
It was one of those effortlessly Parisian experiences, where the everyday feels cinematic.
Souvenir Hunting at Le Bon Marché
Soon after, the weather took a sudden turn—and just like that, we were caught in a heavy downpour.
Without umbrellas, we found shelter nearby and waited, hoping it would pass.
But when the rain showed no signs of letting up, we changed plans and hopped on the metro for a little indoor adventure: souvenir shopping.
Our destination? The iconic Le Bon Marché on the Left Bank—a historic Parisian department store beloved for its elegance and refined selection.
Surrounded by beautifully packaged teas, chocolates, jams, and artisanal butters, we couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement.
Even the act of choosing souvenirs became part of the joy—
a quiet moment to reflect on the trip while gathering little tokens to share with others (and maybe a few just for ourselves).
A Sweet Escape at BERNACHON
With our bags full of carefully chosen souvenirs, we set off on foot for our next indulgence—
a stop at BERNACHON, a dream destination for any true chocolate lover.
The promise of rich, handcrafted chocolates ahead added a delicious anticipation to our stroll through the Paris streets.
Originally from Lyon, BERNACHON is a renowned chocolatier, and its Paris boutique lives up to the name—refined, elegant, and quietly luxurious.
In the window, a massive, intricately decorated Easter egg caught everyone’s eye, stopping passersby in their tracks.
Strolling along the rain-kissed cobblestones, savoring the moment of choosing just the right chocolate—
it was one of those small yet perfect joys that only travel can offer.
店内The interior was adorned in champagne-gold accents, evoking the elegance of a fine jewelry boutique.
Each perfectly arranged chocolate—gleaming like a tiny gem—spoke of craftsmanship, precision, and pride.
It wasn’t just a shop; it was a showcase of edible artistry.
That day, we picked up a selection of classic bonbons, the signature “BERNACHOC” chocolate bar, and their beloved hazelnut pralines, known for their exquisite balance of richness and crunch.
Each one was a sweet, indulgent treasure—perfect as thoughtful gifts, or as a well-deserved treat for ourselves.
Elegant, luxurious, and deeply satisfying—the kind of souvenirs you savor long after the journey ends.
Dinner at the Beloved Neo-Bistro “Le Comptoir du Relais”
For dinner, we headed to the ever-popular Le Comptoir du Relais, tucked into the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
This celebrated neo-bistro, part of the Hotel Le Relais Saint-Germain, is famously difficult to get into without a reservation.
Sure enough, a small crowd had gathered outside. But fortune was on our side—just as we arrived, a table opened up, and we were seated inside.
The warm yellow walls, the classic décor, and the lively banter between staff created an inviting, bustling atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home.
We went with some of the bistro’s classic favorites—
starting with œuf mayo, a charcuterie platter, and a steaming bowl of French onion soup.
One of the staff, with a knowing smile, warned us, “That’s quite a lot—are you sure?”
But we couldn’t resist and ordered it all anyway.
As it turned out, they were absolutely right—we were stuffed.
But every dish was so comforting and delicious, we had zero regrets.
The warm, homey flavors and casual charm of the bistro made it the perfect way to wind down—
a soothing pause in the heart of Paris.
Dining at a place we’d long dreamed of visiting—
and doing so surrounded by such an unmistakably Parisian atmosphere—
made the entire evening feel truly special.
It wasn’t just a meal, but a moment:
one of those memories you know will stay with you for a long, long time.
Our final night in Paris.
As we strolled back, satisfied from a day well spent, a thought crept in—
“There was one thing we forgot to do.”
Blame it on the jet lag or the whirlwind of the wedding shoot, but it completely slipped our minds.
Ah well—a perfect reason to come back.
The next day, we would be off to Barcelona.
Back at the hotel, we packed up our things and let the evening fade quietly into a gentle close.
